Thank you to everyone who participated in the Forest Health & Wildfire Resilience: A Community Conversation event on June 2. We appreciated the thoughtful questions, perspectives, and community engagement shared throughout the evening.
This page will soon serve as a home for audience questions submitted during and after the event, along with collaborative responses from participating partners.
Our goal is to provide clear, science-based, and locally relevant information about forest health, wildfire resilience, restoration treatments, community preparedness, and the ongoing work taking place across the Okanogan-Wenatchee forest landscape.
Coming Soon
This page will include:
- Questions submitted by community members
- Responses developed collaboratively by members
- Links to relevant resources, projects, and programs
- Opportunities to stay engaged in forest resilience work
We recognize that forest health and wildfire resilience are important, complex topics. This page is intended to support continued dialogue, shared learning, and transparent communication as we work together toward a more resilient forest.
Please note that some responses may take time to develop. Many of the questions raised involve complex ecological, social, and management considerations, and may require input from multiple organizations and subject matter experts. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, accurate, and science-based responses that reflect both the complexity of forest and aquatic ecosystem management and the collaborative nature of this work.
Please check back soon for updates.
